4 SKILLS YOU SHOULD HAVE

If you have the following traits and habits, just go for them and never look back.

1. Your Daily Habits Decide how Far you will Reach

Whatever the things you do every day as habits actually decide what is your capability and potential to do anything in life. Set goals each and every day and try to achieve them at all costs, without any excuses because once you start with excuses it becomes a habit.
As soon as you start your day and wake up, make your bed a habit. This may seem like an irrational thing to do but believe me a battle was won there itself. You accomplished the very first task of the day which will surely give you a boost for the day to keep on going and completing your daily tasks on a regular basis.

You may ask how is it going to affect our startup, let me tell you by saying this your startup largely depends on the things and skills that you obtained in your life before starting the startup. It only partially depends on the skills acquired afterward.

2. Small Decisions Matter the Most

Life is mostly made up of small decisions and partially made up of large decisions. People tend to think their life depends upon large decisions but it is the other way around. Your small decision matter the most, the decisions that you take on a daily basis, the decision that you may find some time to be of no use, matter the most.

Success is a choice rather than hard work. If you decide to be successful then no hardship can put you down, you just have to work hard enough.

Making small decisions may not seem like a big thing at first but if followed correctly it builds a strong character and a bold personality.

3. Commitment is Key

Be confident wherever you are, whatever you are, with whosoever you are. Being confident is the key to achieving anything, I repeat anything. You will be surprised to know how much you will achieve by just being confident and minding your own business. Confidence gives you a perspective that you never had, it will take you on a journey you always asked.
Many a time it becomes a tool to break eye contact which helps to make great communication with anyone.

Once you commit to something, you need to put your life behind it, and no matter the odds and cost, accomplishing it.

The power of not giving up is real, those who have done it will know it, those who haven’t will know it too.

Mark my words, being shy in any situation will suck the excitement from your life and eat you from within, and will let you to a place mentally that you hated before.

4. Change in Habits is a Necessary Evil

It is the most common thing that people lack and they don’t even know about it. It is true that human brains don’t like to change their habits and tries to seek happiness in what they already know.
In fact, it will find a number of creative excuses in order to not change and keep everything as it is. But as you go along in life, you will realize that this is one of the most important things that you have to do sometimes.

“Chains of habits are too light to be felt until they are too heavy to be broken” by Warren Buffet.

You must have heard that excess of anything is bad and you should never attach yourself to a place, person, or material because nothing lasts forever, and if they are gone and they eventually will you will be left in deep sadness, so attach yourself to a calling, to a mission. This way you will not disappoint yourself in the future.

Suitable Conditions and Skills Needed for Startup

1. Pick the Right Startup Idea!

Picking the right idea is one of the most things for a startup. It forms a base for your future developments and projects.
There is a high chance that your idea has been done before, it is up to you and your instincts to find a proper execution of your idea with respect to its general and economic growth.

2. Should you Need a Co-Founder or a team?

Sooner or later life will teach you to perform in critical and demanding situations but in a startup, the amount of work becomes so humungous that it can’t be dealt with from only one perspective and needs to be more creative. Having a teammate always helps and it allows mistakes unknowingly done by one to be uncovered and resolved quickly.

3. Take Risks

In life, you have to step away from your comfort zone and take risks.
If you are not ready to do either then you will be stuck in a position where you will lose control of your life that will enable the situations of your life to wander in any direction without your conscious knowledge and you will be left complaining about the chores of life.
So take control of your life and make it your bi*** and let it do whatever you want it to do, where no one comes in between.

“The biggest risk is not taking the risk”. by Elon Musk.

4. Choosing the Right Product to Sell for which the Market “Presumably” Exists

Choosing the right product to sell marks the very existence of your company. Generally, new startups don’t correlate to the fact that the product they are selling has a demand in the market or not. Founders fail to realize this very fact about their startup.
Usually, they have an idea and without realizing the other factors involved in making the idea big, the founders go on a trip of conquering the world. Finding out the demand that your product will create in the long run is the million-dollar question.

If possible know your customer, find your product niche. Don’t try to sell to the whole world, considering the whole world as your customer has led to people failing in unimaginative miserable ways, so avoid it initially.

5. Chase Goals, not Money

When an idea is converted into a startup the very first thing founders do is try to make money rather than focusing on building a better business model to increase the reachability of their product. Amazon hasn’t had a profitable year with the exception of one or two. Many companies don’t become profitable in their first decade.
Building a better product will enable you in long run to generate enough money, that you will not know what to do with.

WHY DO THE STARTUPS FAIL?

1.It is simply because they don’t follow the things that they thought they would do during the start of the startup, after some initial success they forget everything and fall into the same trap that many have fallen, that trap lets you settle in your startup career. Remember in a startup you should never settle, you should be hungry for more could not (but that hunger should not be converted to greed, always maintain a fine between them both).

2.It also has to do with perspective. People in the process of making their startup big and better forget some basics which can be easily eliminated if you just see yourself from the eyes of a 3rd person, people blindly follow that 1st person person perspective which sometimes proves to be fatal for the startup.
We can easily judge the hell out of people from our perspective and we sometimes do the basic mistake that we thought no one was capable of doing while in the process.
