1. LOCATION & SURROUNDING
The USA is located in the western hemisphere, surrounded by water bodies on most of its sides. Not only that these water bodies stretch for hundreds of miles in both directions, one way it is considered to be the end of the world with the Pacific ocean, and on the other way it is the gateway to another world which is Europe. it can be partially said that the USA is situated in another part of the world from where most of the population is concentrated on the planet.
A lot of factors contributed to the US becoming a major player in the world, it is surrounded by countries that either don’t want to fight with anyone or someone who is financially very weak to insist on a fight.
The location of the USA presents the country with a consumption problem as the Latin American countries from South America are able to supply an enormous quantity of drugs into the country through illegal pathways. The travel distances between the rest of the population are huge which in the early days of the 20th century caused a major problem to communicate with the outer world, but today with the dawn of the internet it can be done in a fraction of a second.
And with no surprise, they are the major contributors to the internet, and making it more useful than ever before is done by the people of Silicon Valley in California.
And because of the USA becoming a major player it has captured its surrounding small neighbors like Hawaii and forcefully made them a part of their culture. Being located in such a good position is an unsilly act of nature which they have been able to use to their advantage.
2. MILITARY SPENDING
There is no denying the fact that the USA has major military spending as compared to other countries in the world. As a matter of fact, in terms of military spending, the next 10 countries combined equate to the average spending of the USA for a year. Last year they spent north of $600 billion and surely made great advancements into the military world.
This enormous money came from keeping the dollar in debt and printing as much money as possible to satisfy the needs of the nation. The USA had the vision to become a supreme leader of the world in the early part of the 20th century and they made sure they achieved it from their habits and choices.
And due to this crazy military spending the national debt is reaching levels never seen before, The average national debt for every American household has crossed the $100,000 mark.
There is no doubt, the American military is by far the strongest of the bunch, and has pieces of equipment and technologies never heard of before. They have been breaking records in the early 1970s when most of the countries on the planet were having a hard time feeding their population. They on the other hand dominated the skies, the seas, and the land with their over-the-line technology and gadgetry.
3. PEOPLE’S MENTALITY
The common people of the USA have an insane level of confidence and strong willpower which is a good indication of a strong mentality. Although in the confidence index, the rank of the USA is not that great but what really matters is the real-life example which like the other stats shows that it is great.
As a matter of fact, they are very prone to doing hard work. The people there have a mentality of earning money from a very early age from their school time. They start earning money by doing odd jobs here and there, But the rest of the world doesn’t do any kind of work until and unless they are capable of it, sometimes just after finishing college, it is embedded into the American culture to be hard-working and to make the most out of their lives.
People's mentality also differs in the way they handle things, the USA has always recognized that it is a superpower and never deviated from the fact that it is a supreme leader of the world and they never let the rest of the world forget that. The way they are handling things for the past century shows a truly powerful nation, although they have done very cheap and nasty things to protect their identity and to keep themselves on top they also have done nice things along the way.
Sometimes this mentality leads to many wrongdoings that fall into the bad category. As a matter of fact, one out of every hundred Americans is in prison, and jurisdiction sentences are very tough and inhumane, and are very harsh. The USA has the largest prison population of any country, and it also has a very high crime rate in any country, despite having very harsh punishment for the defenders.
4. BEING EARLY INTO THINGS
The USA has built its position by being early into many things which ended up being huge in the long run. They had an early vision which they seem to recognize well from others and adapted into their brains to work accordingly. They clearly have done many things which people thought were impossible, like landing a man on the moon, it is still to this day seems impossible to do but they were the ones to do it. Making aircraft records in the 1960s was one of the prime examples of their excellence.
Not only that they are the ones who envisioned a world that would have technology all around it. People like Steve Jobs and Bill Gates started companies like Apple and Microsoft which truly revolutionise the world and made a dent in the universe. The world would be clearly unrecognized and very different if these revolutions were not to happen.
They were one of the first countries to gain independence on the planet with the exception of only the French who had the French revolution in 1789. The USA gained independence more than 200 years ago and they have achieved everything in the process through persistence and perseverance, they have achieved what no country was able to achieve.
